Quick answers
The questions we are asked first
Written so this section can be copied straight into a security questionnaire.
What standard?
WCAG 2.2, level AA.
What does it cover?
This website and the PeerPath application, which are assessed separately.
How was it assessed?
To confirm. Self assessment and an external audit are different claims and the page should say which.
Are there known exceptions?
To confirm, from the audit.
How do I report a problem?
To confirm. An address and a response commitment belong here.
What we have built for
| Keyboard | Every interactive element reachable and operable without a mouse, with a visible focus ring. |
|---|---|
| Contrast | Text meets AA at its size. Accent colour is used at the weight that passes, not the weight that looks best. |
| Motion | All transitions are short, and every one is disabled when a visitor asks for reduced motion. |
| Structure | One heading per level in order, descriptive link text, and alt text that describes what an image shows. |
Still to be established by audit
| Conformance level | Whether AA is met in full, or met with exceptions. |
|---|---|
| The application | Assessed separately from this site, and likely to have a different answer. |
| Known exceptions | Listed openly, with what we intend to do about each. |
| Assessment date | And who carried it out. |
What we do not do
- We have not published a conformance claim yet, because we have not completed an audit. This page will say what the audit finds, including anything it finds against us.
